Formality is at the heart of this sunken corner of one of our Surrey gardens.  A strong diagrammatic structure of evergreen planting divides a network of pathways with a serene formal pool which centres on the glorious orangery of the house.  The formal beds are interwoven with sequential blooming of seasonal bulbs providing a change in colour and activity throughout the year.
